The standard is typcially .36/hr for body/paint. It is .51 for body/frame work.

Body and Collision shops have different rates for different types of labor as mentioned.
I suggest a quick call to a local shop to verify.
It doesn’t matter what the hourly rate for something like that is,everyone is going to dream up a different price anyway.I would expect to pay between $200 and $2500 depending on who did it.Seriously.I work in autobody repair.
here where i live in pa. it,s $70.00 an hour flat rate.
our area is about 65/hr. You are charged according to what the estimator book says should be the allowed time per job, so even if it takes 20 minutes and the book says 1.5 hrs, you get charged the 1.5hrs. The same is supposed to apply if it takes longer than the recommended time, you should only have to pay for the time it “should” take, but who knows how a shop charges for extras?
