Question by goldspokes520s: will air helper springs (air-lift Suspension, slam-air … etc) raise the ride height of my truck or is it jus
will air helper springs (air-lift Suspension, slam-air … etc) raise the ride height of my truck or is it just to stiffen the ride when carrying a full load or towing i want to bag my truck but dont want to spends the riduculous amount of $$$$$ on a 4 link & c notch kit
2002 dodge ram 1500 quad cab 2wd i dont want to lay frame i just want to drop it 2 more inches all around it has a 2/4 drop now then just raise it a few inches to drive it the slam it when i park not lay the frame so no c notch involved. i know the old school lowriders used hydraulic cylinders with leaf springs to raise & lower a few inches it would be alot cheaper to use hydraulics but it’s my daily driver i dont want to sacrifice the ride quality

I wouldnt suggest going that way if your wantin to bag your truck especially if you want it on the ground. The only way you’ll lay in the back is with the Cnotch. What kind of truck do ya have? They have a lot of bolt on stuff these days including notches. Check out www.suicidedoors.com for your parts but I learned everything I know about air suspension from www.streetsourcemag.com
